This is a really cool Sony stereo still sounds good after 30 years , the speakers detach on this model Cfs-700 this can be powered via dc 12 volt input 120 volt or via D batteries . This unit also has rec line in , ext mic and more . The front head phone port is larger then today and remains untested .The Antenna tip is broken but the internal antenna is still present and can be raised to an extent you can see in the photos. The right speaker housing is cracked on the right side but is still present if the speaker face was unscrewed one could more then likely get a better fitment of the housing . I played the cassette player for 30 minutes or better plays fine , found that Fast forwarded was spotty reverse was less intermittent but still not functioning 100 but as i used it it got a bit better maybe needs used . So it plays the radio am and fm both work as they should and the dial is accurate . The battery cover is intact and the compartment is corrosion free . the foam on the door is shot but cover holds . Nice shape for the age METAL FRAME HEAVY DUTY will ship most cost effective way to save buyer money fed ex ups or usps .
